Statement of the Körköm Foundation

The Körköm Foundation categorically rejects the article published today in the Irad Times. It is an attack on Iradi art and on the artists, masters and children who depend on it.
Every gift the foundation receives, from Irad and from abroad, is audited, published and spent on the programmes our donors chose. Our accounts are audited each year by Talas Audit Consulting LLC and summarised in our annual report. The contracts for the Palace of Art roof, the Ak Zal pavilion and the Philharmonic mosaic were awarded on the advice of the members concerned and are open to inspection by our members.
Our foreign trustees are friends of Irad who have given their own money and time to Iradi art for more than ten years. We thank them, and every patron who stands with us today.
We invite every reader of the Irad Times to Ak Zal, to the Palace of Art and to the Winter Gala, to see where the money goes.
