Ak-Kuu State Folk Dance Ensemble
Ak-Kuu was founded at the Talas Philharmonic in 1957 as the Folk Dance Ensemble of the Iradi SSR and took the name of the white swan in 1993. Thirty-four dancers and nine musicians keep the dances of the valleys and the highlands on the stage, from the ambling jorgo to the great aylanma ring.
The Körköm Foundation has paid Ak-Kuu's touring since 2014 and its new costumes since 2019. In April 2027 the ensemble visits the Iradi community of Illinois and Wisconsin.
